Welcome back to Haddington Golf Club!

Procedures for Playing Golf

It is important that we all understand that only members of 2 different households will be permitted to play together. This is the health and safety advice of the Scottish Government and, as it is your Pro Staff that is at the greatest risk, I feel it is very important that we enforce it.

For this reason, any tee times that are booked with members of more than two households will be deleted. I ask anyone who has booked such a time to rectify it before the day of play to avoid this being the case.

We would also like to make it clear that the golf course is open between 7am and 6pm. It is important that no one plays out-with these hours as we are obligated as part of the Government Track & Trace Program to record everyone who visits the Golf Club. Please do not be tempted to begin play before 7am or after 6pm. This puts everyone at risk and is the type of behaviour that could see us back in lockdown later this summer.

We are all delighted to be able to get back playing golf but we need to make sure that we do it as safely as possible. Once again we have posted our guidelines below this message and please be aware that copies of our risk assessment are available in the Pro Shop. We are also happy to announce that our caterers will be providing takeaway food options from opening day. Please see the hospitality page for more details

Thank you all for your patience and support and we look forward to seeing you all soon
